We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality/Safety Technician. Our goal is to ensure that our products and processes meet established quality and safety standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee procedures/guidelines during fabrication.
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and complete correct documentation.
- Identify potential hazards and provide corrective actions.
- Collaborate with installation and fabrication teams to address quality issues.
- Develop and implement quality/safety improvement initiatives.
- Stay up to date on industry standards and changes in regulations.
- Educate staff on quality and safety standards through training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications
- Proven experience in quality control or safety inspection
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
- Proficient knowledge and reading of a tape measure
- OSHA10 Certification with intent to complete OSHA course #500
Physical Requirements:
The Quality/Safety Technician may be required to stand, walk, or inspect for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and/or do repetitive tasks. It is also required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.
