Quality/Safety Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality/Safety Technician. Our goal is to ensure that our products and processes meet established quality and safety standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee procedures/guidelines during fabrication.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process, and finished products.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and complete correct documentation.
  • Identify potential hazards and provide corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with installation and fabrication teams to address quality issues.
  • Develop and implement quality/safety improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards and changes in regulations.
  • Educate staff on quality and safety standards through training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications
  • Proven experience in quality control or safety inspection
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Proficient knowledge and reading of a tape measure
  • OSHA10 Certification with intent to complete OSHA course #500

Physical Requirements:

The Quality/Safety Technician may be required to stand, walk, or inspect for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and/or do repetitive tasks. It is also required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.
