We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality/Safety Technician. Our goal is to ensure that our products and processes meet established quality and safety standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee procedures/guidelines during fabrication.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process, and finished products.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and complete correct documentation.
Identify potential hazards and provide corrective actions.
Collaborate with installation and fabrication teams to address quality issues.
Develop and implement quality/safety improvement initiatives.
Stay up to date on industry standards and changes in regulations.
Educate staff on quality and safety standards through training sessions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications
Proven experience in quality control or safety inspection
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
Proficient knowledge and reading of a tape measure
OSHA10 Certification with intent to complete OSHA course #500

Physical Requirements:

The Quality/Safety Technician may be required to stand, walk, or inspect for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and/or do repetitive tasks. It is also required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.
